Only have a week? From Malé, AMBA heads to South Ari Atoll, where outer reefs are known for whale-shark encounters and thilas are covered in soft corals and reef fish.
The route then crosses to Vaavu for channel dives, where reef sharks move with the current, and for a memorable night dive. The trip finishes back in Malé Atoll.
This itinerary is a good fit for divers combining a liveaboard with a resort or guesthouse stay, or for anyone trying a liveaboard for the first time.

Is a week long enough?
Yes. Expect around 16–18 dives in the central atolls. The 11-night North and South routes cover more areas if you can stay longer.
Can I combine this with a resort stay?
Yes. Atolliva can help arrange a resort or guesthouse before or after the cruise, along with transfers.
What level do I need?
Advanced Open Water or equivalent, Nitrox certification and at least 30 logged dives. You should be able to deploy a surface marker buoy.
Can the whole boat be chartered?
