Deep South Expedition – Huvadhoo & Fuvahmulah to Malé
This is the same remote route as the southbound expedition, sailed in the other direction. Fly to Kooddoo Airport in Huvadhoo Atoll and board AMBA in the far south, where the big-animal diving begins.
The first days explore Fuvahmulah and Huvadhoo, with tiger sharks and possible hammerheads and threshers offshore, plus powerful channel dives. The boat then works north through Laamu and Thaa, then Meemu and Vaavu, finishing in Malé.
Domestic flights to Kooddoo are not included, but Atolliva can help arrange them. A black wetsuit is required for Fuvahmulah tiger-shark dives; additional site and environmental fees may apply.
