A LIFE AT SEA
About AMBA
AMBA is a German-run dive liveaboard that has sailed the Maldives for more than 20 years. The cruise director, who is also the managing director, lives on board and personally leads every trip. All three captains have at least 20 years at sea, and some of the 15 crew have been with AMBA for up to two decades.
Diving is done from a custom-built dive dhoni that follows the main yacht, so the yacht stays calm and the dive deck stays organised. Briefings are given in English, German, Italian and Spanish.
