This package keeps it simple: a comfortable balcony room at White Sand Dhigurah, breakfast and dinner every day, and the three trips most people come for. You spend the rest of your time on the beach, on the house reef or cycling the island's sandy lanes.

Your itinerary
- Day 1Arrive in Dhigurah
Meet your speedboat at Velana Airport for the trip to Dhigurah (about 1 hour 30 minutes). Check in, settle into your balcony room and catch sunset on the long beach.
- Day 2Whale sharks
Head out into the South Ari Marine Protected Area to look for whale sharks with an experienced guide. Sightings are frequent but never guaranteed.
- Day 3Island time
A free day. Walk the beach to the island's sandbank tip, snorkel the house reef or hire a bicycle.
- Day 4Manta rays
Snorkel at a manta point where these gentle giants come to feed and be cleaned.
- Day 5Sandbank day
Spend the afternoon on a sandbank with snorkelling and lunch served on the sand.
- Day 6Departure
Breakfast, then the speedboat back to the airport for your flight.

White Sand Dhigurah
White Sand Dhigurah is a friendly guesthouse a short walk from the beach, with air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant serving a buffet breakfast and dinner with live cooking stations, and its own tour desk and dive arrangements.

30% deposit to confirm, balance 30 days before arrival. Children, single travellers, extra nights and other room types on request.
Good to know
Dhigurah is an inhabited local island: no alcohol on the island, modest clothing in the village and swimwear on the bikini beach. Whale sharks live in South Ari all year, but sightings can never be guaranteed.
