Fihalhohi sits on the southern rim of South Malé Atoll, 28 km and about 45 minutes by speedboat from Velana International Airport. The island covers around 93,000 m² and is thick with greenery and coconut palms, which keeps it shady and quiet. Its 150 rooms are mostly beach-side: duplex Deluxe Beach and Deluxe Sky rooms, single-storey Deluxe Superior and Premium Beach rooms, and 12 Water Villas over the lagoon. Life centres on the Palm Grove buffet restaurant, three bars and the beach, with Fiha Dive, a spa and a water sports centre for active days. The style is traditional and unpretentious rather than glossy. It suits families and groups of friends who want rooms close together, divers, and couples looking for a straightforward island holiday with an All Inclusive option.

Palm Grove Restaurant serves international and Maldivian buffets. Fisherman's Bar offers drinks, shisha and nightly entertainment, Blue Lagoon Bar serves cocktails, food and a Hi-Tea buffet, and the Beach Hut on the north beach has drinks and swings over the sand. Private beach dinners, champagne breakfasts and in-room dining can be arranged. The All Inclusive covers buffet meals at Palm Grove, afternoon snacks at Blue Lagoon Bar, and cocktails, mocktails, wines and soft drinks from 08:30 to midnight. Facilities include Huvandhumaa Spa with five treatment rooms, a gym, badminton, table tennis, billiards and table football, a medical clinic, a boutique shop, photography, laundry, free Wi-Fi and 24-hour reception.

Fiha Dive is a PADI 5-Star dive school offering courses from Bubblemaker for children through Open Water, Advanced, Nitrox and Rescue Diver, plus underwater scooter (DPV) dives. Dive sites in South Malé Atoll are minutes away, with coral gardens, dolphins, manta rays and sharks. The water sports centre has jet skis, windsurfing, kayaks, paddleboards and snorkelling, and excursions run from the island.
