Kirulhiya Maldives Hotel is a small guesthouse on Chaandhanee Magu in Omadhoo, a local island in Alif Dhaal (South Ari) Atoll about 70 km from Velana International Airport. Its deluxe rooms sleep one or two guests and come with air conditioning, a private bathroom, a work desk, Wi-Fi and a coffee maker. The focus is on authentic local experiences and the reef. Omadhoo has a house reef to explore, and the hotel's own day trips head across South Ari, home of the South Ari Marine Protected Area, and over to Vaavu Atoll for nurse sharks, leopard sharks and dolphins. It suits couples, solo travellers and anyone who wants a simple room and long days on the water.

The hotel runs three trips of its own. The Vaavu Atoll Expedition (8 hours) includes snorkelling with nurse sharks and leopard sharks, dolphin spotting, a shipwreck, a visit to Fulidhoo island, and drone photos and videos. The South Ari Atoll Expedition (8 hours) is a private day exploring the atoll's marine life, and the Coral Expedition (4 hours) explores South Ari's living reef.
